I was adopted from Sicuani, Peru. I was only about 18 months old when I came to the states. I feel so lucky that my adoptive parents found me. They have provided a wonderful childhood for me, full of travel, family, adventure, and love.

I would say I am the nerdy type. I am immensely curious and take great pleasure in learning new things. I find people fascinating and love to people watch. I am attentive and analytical. I've been told that my confident and independent nature is the best and worst thing about me. I value honesty above all else.

I have some ink and some metal, but I don't let that define my personal style. I have traveled all over and have lived in four states in the last 4 years. I love change :)

Where to begin? I'm a rare specimen, a nerd with social skills. So I got the brain, but also I know how to interact with people. I love learning new things, I love a challenge. When it comes down to me in a few words I think you could say 'fun loving'. I think People take life too seriously, and that is a real shame. The world is a place that should be enjoyed, a place of wonder and fun. Kids have the right idea. In their free time they run around, pretend, watch cartoons, play games, focus on the simple things, and enjoy everything to its fullest extent. Life is too short to take *everything* seriously. Because of this I am a child at heart I love going out and "playing" meaning going out on adventures, but I also like to play in the actual sense, if there were playgrounds big enough I would love to be able to goof around on one of those again. I'm not saying that I can't be an adult, but if you are not enjoying your life you are doing something wrong.

You can't expect anything. It's only important to know that concentrating on today is much more important that looking for tomorrow or doting on yesterday. It's very difficult to get past my hard, rough exterior, but I have a soft chewy center :) I tend to appear complex and mysterious and I dunno if that's true or not, but it aggravates my friends sometimes because they insist they know so little about me. I guess I feel that whatever it is I know (or don't know) there's no reason to just share it publicly. I think the mystery is in figuring me out, and if anyone can, let me know so i can figure myself out. I continuously strive to find what makes me happy and I accept nothing less that what I aim for. I do consider myself to be quite smart, almost to the point of arrogance. There are still plenty of things I don't know, and I accept that however smart I may be, I'm not entitled to anything I'm not willing to work for.

I'm a passionate outdoor enthusiast and nature lover hoping to find someone to share the wonders of the natural world. I currently find myself settling into a steady job here in Colorado after traveling through the country working with wolves, hawks, big cats, and other wildlife. I'm originally from the south Chicago burbs, but seized the opportunity to take on a nomadic lifestyle as soon as I was legally able. Obviously, I'm a huge wildlife advocate and animal lover, and I have a special place in my heart for apex predators. Although I dropped out of college, I remain a science geek, and lately I have been learning about particle physics and astrophysics. I still don't know much about either subject, but find the basics fascinating so far. I'm a straight single man. I work for a way much too large company as a software product inventor and development manager. I have several serious activities that I do that better define who I am than where I draw my paycheck does. I have been taking metal smithing and jewelry making classes for a year and a half and plan on continuing this as long as I can. I'm always working on a lot of projects at the same time involving silver/copper/bronze/gold fabrication, faceted gemstones, pearls, semiprecious stones, and a few other novel materials.

I combine using my very beautiful entirely mechanical old-school medium format film cameras with natural light black and white portrait photography, doing my own film developing, then scanning, digitally perfecting, and printing these images with my computer.

I really like to cook and bake. My scratch-made banana/rum/walnut cake with cream cheese frosting draws raves. My day-long prepared pork green chili with hot homemade tortillas seldom lasts out the evening, no matter how much I make. I do great breads and rolls too.

And I read! I've always got 2-3 books going at once. The stacks of read and unread books in my office are precarious and always threatening collapse.

I am a smart ass, have little regard for the traditional ways of doing things, as I find that they simply slow me down. Well here it goes. I'm a very creative person that just likes to listen alot, if you want to chat in any degree for any outcome send me a message, I promise ill reply. I love cartoons and anime.. yes i beleive there is a difference, its entirely cultural but there are others. I dont watch too many live action shows, a few examples of the ones i watch are, house, scrubs, mythbusters, ghost hunters, brainiac, attack of the show, i like numbers, whose line is it anyway ,and phyche (i dont knwo if i spelt that right) but wont go out of my way to watch them.

I'm also kind of who-I-am. I'm uncompromising in the barest essentials, at least as far as certain things go. I'm straight-up, a little too direct, and rabidly independent.

The truth is, though, that I need people as well. Not all the time, not 24/7 with someone to stave off the demons. But I energize through socializing; I live to hang out with friends and perform well in a group (i.e. team sports.) In short, I'm a people-monster.

I do like to be told I'm pretty and that I'm missed or wanted. I don't need it all the time but I do like to hear it.

I like to think I'm pretty disciplined. I make time for things that are important to me but my career and my education will probably come first for a while. I believe in taking care of my responsibilities before I take care of myself.

Hi everyone. I am 26, work in government and I run my own business. I am married to a wonderful woman named Jasmine. (See picture above) We are a polyamours minded couple who are looking for a very specific person. My wife, (Jasmine) is in the army reserve. She and I have always entertained the idea of inviting others into relationships while married to each other but it suddenly because serious about a month ago. All three of us have met, and they are now dating.

Now of course she feels as if she is getting the better end of the deal. So we are actively looking for a girlfriend that I can spend time with, date, and share some of life's experiences.

About us, we are two very "normal" people if there is such a thing. We live in the mountains above Golden. As I said above, I work in government and she is a stay at home mom (outside of the army). I also run my own tree removal business which is doing fairly well considering all the damage this area has taken recently. I just got a new car to help ease the the darn gas prices on the old pocket book. ALos makes it easier to go do stuff and drive the other rides as I have more money for them. I have been looking for a motorcycle but I am not sure if I should be allowed to ride. I am kinda what you call a ticket hound. I have two court appearences this month for moving violations. I tend to speed and that dose not work well with motorcycles.

What else? I do not care about fashion and tend to wear things that fit right (no saggin pants, shorts or stickers on my hats)...Just stupid...
I also like things that are broke in like shoes, hats and belts.
I dont like to buy shoes untill the ones I have are worn out. I am not an Air Jordan owner either. Too much for some exercise shoes. No when it comes down to going out shoes I spend a little more. I tend to only buy Dr. Martins. They last and are comfortable. I also buy them for work. Hats are cool I primarily buy Denver Broncos hats as I am a big fan. I have a few others but they do not get worn. Belts mostly just have to work, be solid and most of all I have to like it.

My name is Matt, and I have a confession to make. I am leadership junkie. It's like crack for me. Seriously, reading about and putting into practice principles of leadership are my two most favorite activities.

To give you an example of what I mean by leadership, I'm spent my senior year as Cadet Deputy Commander and then Cadet Commander for the Arvada Cadet Squadron. During that time, cadet membership doubled, staff morale was the highest it had been in a long time, and communication in the squadron was like a well-oiled cheetah.

I'm also a bit of a closet linguist. Linguistics is, to use the words of David Guetta, "a sexy bitch." We had a fling a few summers back, and we still have the occasional one night stand.

Other interests: dancing poorly, outdoor activities (hiking, biking), sleeping, megan fox, organizational design, computer programming, and getting up at 0600 to do PT.

I am an active outdoor person looking to share the outdoors with someone special. I like to ski (down hill and nordic) , play tennis, hike, snowshoe, backpack, camp, trail run and just walk the dogs. I live in the hills and love to spend time in front of a campfire drinking beer with friends.
I travel a bit for work looking for unexploded ordnance on military bases. I love to travel for vacation and photograph what I see.

I am a very driven person; I'd like to say the best of my years are waiting for me. I am a beginning independent film maker, who has a background in education. Teaching 5th grade was definitely a learning experience. I was the type of teacher that would volunteer for extra recess hours, so I didn't have to teach. If only I could get payed to teach recess, hmmmm, P.E. teacher. oh well, I made up my mind to work with film.

I have been in the Denver Metro area for almost a year now and I haven't had much luck meeting anyone. I am pretty down to earth. I hate drama and games so if thats what your about keep looking. It sounds cocky but I am pretty picky and no what I want. I am a great catch with lots to offer just waiting for the right guy to see it. I am not about forcing things so I have little to no expectations when I meet someone. I am not one of those girls who meets a guy hangs out once and is like OMG I think he wants to be with me. Its hard to hold my attention not many do these days. I am sure I am scaring away 90 percent of the population but at least I know what to expect that way.

so here goes. im easy going, laid back, funny, confident not cocky (to a certain extent), i try to be the best friend that i can and try to make everyone happy. i love sports. im a sports nut. football, basketball boxing/UFC and baseball mostly. i enjoy jus watchin people and how they act whether it be at the store or a bar or club. im perfectly fine with staying in over goin out. im lookin for a girl thats not a complete girly girl, isnt afraid to get a lil dirty, 70% angel 30%devil. someone who knows what they want in life and isnt afraid to fight for it. really thats about it.... anything else.... just ask.

I can be clownish and joking, but there is also duality in my personality, e.g., I can be quite introspective. I'm a business professional with a pretty busy schedule, but I still like to have fun. I enjoy going to the gym, taking yoga classes, dinner out with friends, and taking my yorkie puppy to the dog park. I'm honest and compassionate, and I'd do anything for the people I care about.
